Freshwater UK PLC full year 2016/17 trading update

The board of Freshwater UK PLC is pleased to provide an update of provisional results for the full year ending 31st August 2017. Subject to final audit, it is expected that EBITDA will be approxomately £0.8m for the full year, on a turnover of just under £4.7m. This will be the second highest EBITDA since 2008.

The business continues to deliver healthy profit margins and cash flow and a strong debt-free balance sheet but, as noted in our half year statement, uncertainty in the Uk economy may continue to have an impact as we go forward into 2017/18.

The board will provide a further update aftre its meeting on 28th November 2017.

The board of Freshwater UK plc, the leading independent communications consultancy, announced today that Steve Howell, the chief executive of Freshwater UK, is to take up a role with the Labour Party. Steve will be taking leave of absence for an indefinite period and Freshwaters deputy chief executive, John Underwood, will be stepping in as chief executive in Steves absence. Steve will remain on the Freshwater board as a non-executive director.
